1. Context
I designed a landing page for Electric Helpers, a local electrician service based in Lahore, Pakistan. The goal was to build trust instantly and make it easy for homeowners to book a certified electrician in one click.
2. Problem Statement
Local electrician services in Pakistan have no proper online presence. Customers struggle to find trusted, certified electricians quickly especially during emergencies like power outages or circuit failures.
3. Project Overview
My Role & Team
Zeeshan Ahmed — UI/UX Designer
Duration
1 Week
Tools
- Figma
4. Project Goal
Design a professional service landing page that builds immediate trust, clearly lists services with pricing, and drives users toward one action booking a trusted electrician.
5. Research & Persona
Persona
Profile: Homeowner or tenant aged 25–50 in Lahore, faces electrical issues at home, wants a fast and reliable solution without calling random numbers.
Pain Points:
- Hard to find certified electricians online in Pakistan
- No upfront pricing feels risky
- No way to know if the service is trustworthy
Competitive Analysis
Most local electrician businesses in Pakistan operate through WhatsApp or word of mouth with no website. International platforms like TaskRabbit show that transparent pricing and verified profiles dramatically increase booking confidence this was the gap I targeted.
6. Brainstorming & Ideation
I structured the page to answer three user questions in order Can I trust them? What do they offer? What will it cost? leading naturally from a strong hero with CTA, to services, to a clear pricing table, to testimonials, then booking.
7. Wireframes
8. Final Design (Mockup)
9. Design System
Colors
Royal blue #1A3CC8 as primary for trust and professionalism, white background, light gray section dividers, yellow accents on logo and partner icons.
Typography
Bold inter for hero heading, regular inter for body and pricing table, clean and highly readable throughout.
Components
Split hero with form, 2-column service cards with real photos, pricing table, full width testimonial with background image, partner logo strip, FAQ accordion section, dark footer.
10. Conclusion
The biggest challenge was making a trade service feel professional and trustworthy in a market where none of the competitors have a proper website. Transparent pricing and a direct booking form were the two design decisions that solve the core user anxiety. I learned how layout structure directly guides user confidence before they even read the content.
11. Scope of Improvements
Live Chat or WhatsApp Button
Since Pakistani users trust WhatsApp, adding a floating chat button would increase conversions significantly.
Service Area Map
Showing coverage zones in Lahore would reduce drop-off from users unsure if the service reaches them.
